Samuel Larsson stops drawing Jan Andersson

After a period of technical issues on his site janandersson.be, a message showed: The comic strip Jan Andersson is taking a break indefinitely.

Samuel Larsson seems to have lost his inspiration. Personally, I shed a little tear over Samuel’s decision to stop drawing Jan Andersson. It is an underrated comic that has given me many laughs and insights and I am convinced that comic-Sweden will become a little more dull now.

Samuel Larsson has started a blog - minatvivelochmintro.blogspot.com (my doubts and my faith) - where he tries to sort out his existential thoughts. It is kind of an interesting reading, but I would prefer him being happy again and continue with cartoons.

Samuel Larsson was recently at the book fair in Göteborg and has just released the paperback Jan Andersson, published by Ekholm & Tegebjer. Read more about it on the publisher’s website.
